Do you have a message to share at Women of the World – Baltimore?

We’re excited to announce that the Call for Speakers for WOW Festival Baltimore 2020 is officially open.

WOW Baltimore is part of a larger global movement that celebrates women and girls as a force for positive change. WOW Baltimore is a world-class event that will inspire, engage, and energize women and men statewide by providing diverse forums for discussion and action to advance gender equality in all areas of society.

What roles will speakers have?

WOW Festivals welcome a diverse lineup of talented speakers to provide a lively, thought-provoking, and impactful event.

We are seeking diverse topics, inspirational stories, facilitated discussions, and skill-building workshops. We encourage submissions that tackle serious issues as well as those that are light-hearted and fun. Because of the scope of this event, we are able to offer a standard honorarium to panelists and presenters. If you are selected as a speaker, you will receive a complimentary ticket to attend the event.

We encourage topics and activities that include a call to action and have positive outcomes for participants.

How long should your presentation be?

All WOW sessions last approximately one hour. All workshop submissions should fit this criterion. Speakers chosen for panels, discussion groups, or otherwise will also need to commit to the hour-long format.

Important Dates

Below are the important dates you need to remember.

  1. Call for speakers will be open until November 3, 2019.
  2. Selected speakers will be informed starting early November 2019
  3. Speakers will be selected through December 2019.
  4. The WOW Festival schedule will be published in December 2019
