Can I bring my children to WOW?

Yes – children are welcome! The following sessions and activities may be of interest to younger visitors.

  • Gender Equity for Girls Session I (Ages 6 – 10; girls only, advance registration is required) – 11:00am – 12:00pm
  • Gender Equity for Girls Session II (Ages 6 – 10; girls only, advance registration is required) – 12:30 – 1:30pm
  • Giving Voice to Girls (Ages 12 and up) 12:30 – 1:30pm
  • Stanley Black and Decker Makerspace (Open to all. Certain age restrictions may apply. Parent or guardian must be present with minor participation)
  • All performances and the WOW Marketplace are open to all ages.

What activities are there for various age ranges?

With over 30 sessions, performances and activities going on during the WOW Festival, there will be plenty of activities appropriate for various ages. We’d suggest all guests use personal discretion for some topics, as some of them might not be suitable for younger ages.

Is child care available?

Child care is not available as part of the WOW Festival.

Is there any content that might not be appropriate for kids?

Some topics maybe not be suitable all ages. We’d suggest all guests to view our festival event content and use personal discretion for attendance.

Are there bathroom facilities on site?

Bathrooms are available throughout the Columbus Center. Volunteers will be on site to help direct guests during the festival.

Where can I park?

The Inner Harbor offers many parking opportunities for guests.

  • The Pier V garage located at 711 E. Pratt St. Baltimore, MD 21202, east of the Columbus Center and will be used as the main parking facility for guests.
  • The Pier V hotel is located at 711 Eastern Ave, Baltimore, MD 21202, just behind the Columbus Center and has a parking lot available for WOW.
  • The Little Italy Garage is also a great nearby option and located at 400 S Central Ave, Baltimore, MD 21202

Is there a nursing or quiet space on site?

Yes, this is located on the 3rd floor of the Columbus Center. Please ask one of our volunteers on site to assist you.

Ticket Questions

Where can I buy tickets?

Tickets are available now online here.

Can tickets be purchased at the door?

Tickets can be purchased at check-in as well as online. We suggest purchasing tickets before they sell out. Space is limited.

Can I show my tickets on my phone at the door or do I need to have the physical tickets with me?

Digital tickets and printed tickets will be accepted/scanned at registration in the Columbus Center.

Do I need to buy any additional tickets for specific events?

General Admission tickets will grant all guests access to the festival. Speed Mentoring and Gender Equality for Girls Sessions (girl only) need to be purchased at the time of check out.

Who can attend the festival?

The Women of the World festival is open to all! There will be events throughout the festival for women, men, and school aged children.

Venue Information

Is there parking available?

The Inner Harbor offers many parking opportunities for guests. The Pier 5 Garage is located west of the Columbus Center and will be used as the main parking facility for guests. For more parking information, visit our parking page.

What is the height restriction for the parking garage?

The clearance of the Pier 5 Garage is 6’8”. For any van parking, use the outdoor parking lots on the southside of the garage.

Where can I find the check in area?

The registration and check-in tables are located on the west entrance of the Columbus center. Visit our venue page for additional information.

The Main Entrance for WOW is located to the right of the Pratt Street entrance entrance, down the right side, along the water. You will see LOTS of colorful signage guiding you into the main door.

Are there accessibility options available?

The entrance to the Columbus Center is on the ground level and is accessible for all. Elevators grant access to all three levels of the Columbus Center.

Are there bathroom facilities on site?

Where can I find a venue map?

Prior to the start of the festival, information will be made available about speaker, performers, and other festival events.

How long will the festival run?

Registration for WOW will begin on the west side of the Columbus Center at 8:30am. The final session will conclude at 4:30pm on the main stage on the second floor.
