Located on the Promenade of the Columbus Center, one of the first event guests will experience at WOW – Women of the World Festival Baltimore (WOW) is the Stanley Black & Decker Makerspace. In the nearly 800 square foot space, the Makerspace will invite WOW festival goers to work together as a community and build useable furniture. Learn how to use everything from basic tools such as hammers and nails to advanced power tools. The community build takes place throughout the day.

Cecile Richards, a national leader for women’s rights, and social and economic justice, is the author of New York Times bestseller Make Trouble. Much of her work has been dedicated to help increase affordable access to reproductive health care and to build a healthier and safer world for women and young people.
